I never intended to draw a thousand houses, but here I am almost a year later and have drawn just about that many. The feedback I've received throughout this project is that that these simple line drawings are mementos and heirlooms bringing comfort to communities who have faces such loss.  And as time passes, I am slowly collecting the stories from the homeowners and others and hope to create a book of the pieces once everything is finished.
